The last three on the right are Sandy Lovett Walp, Isolee
Hagen Michaels and Sandra Hansen Voorhies. The others
are from the class of 1955. You may recognize some of them
and can help us with other names. Larry Mays, Elgie Larsen,
Nancy Davis are spotted, but others are uncertain. The 50th birthday party for Lake Oswego High School celebrated the end of many traditions. During the following weeks, many original buildings were demolished. Already students had changed the school colors from our purple and white to the ho-hum colors of blue and white. The Fight Song and Alma Mater remain the same and are posted on the wall of the men's gymnasium. The old "lower division" wing remains where we were housed as 8th graders in 1951.We attended shop, home economics and health classes as well as entered our locker rooms from this wing. Our only cafetorium was located here also. Do you remember the days of combining the "auditorium" and the "cafeteria"?
